The mission was to design a satellite antenna for different markets, civilian and military. The difference between the version is the materials we chose for each of them and the design style is completely different.
The civil version is made of plastic and so are the design lines. In the military option, the materials are customary in the field using of sheet metals and aluminum to ensure durability under harsh conditions. The design delivered an optimal technological solution, and we were able to reduce manufacturing costs without compromising on the aesthetic and design. It should be noted that in order to engage in projects of this type, an advanced joint understanding of design and engineering. The need to work closely with the experienced engineering staff at GILAT SATELITE NETWORKS was also important in completing this project.
