In this project, we collaborated with Medical Electronic Systems, a company specializing in the development of advanced medical testing systems for accurate and automated semen analysis. The system analyzes critical parameters such as sperm concentration, motility, and morphology — delivering fast, consistent, and reliable results to medical teams and laboratories.
The base we designed and engineered serves as a precise mechanical platform that supports the assembly of two main devices and integrates easily and efficiently into the laboratory work environment.

From Concept to Configurative Sketches and Tangible Mockups
A cornerstone of the development process was the creation of configurative sketches that explored various alternatives and layouts, analyzing user needs, equipment constraints, and lab workflow. We translated these concepts into physical mockup models, which allowed us to test real-world ergonomics — such as easy access, optimal working height, sequence of operations, and simplified maintenance.
Working with mockups enabled real-time improvements and ensured a comfortable, intuitive, and safe user experience over time.

Complete Mechanical Design – Down to Manufacturing Details (DFM)
The entire mechanical design was carried out by our team — from the initial engineering of a durable and functional structure, through the development of efficient connection and assembly mechanisms, to the preparation of full manufacturing specifications based on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
This design approach ensures a smooth transition from development to mass production, reduces manufacturing costs, and shortens assembly times.

Close Collaboration with the Client and Development Team
The entire process was carried out in close collaboration with the engineering and development team at Medical Electronic Systems, with the goal of combining advanced medical technology, maximum ease of use, and precise, professional design. This enabled us to deliver a high-quality, reliable, and efficient platform that supports groundbreaking medical innovation.
